About the Speaker

What do you get when you cross a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University, and JD from Harvard Law School with a PhD from Oxford? A visionary who can both reimagine the future and advise us on how to get there safely. Jamie writes syndicated columns on science, technology, health, politics, and international affairs, and is a frequent contributor to all the major TV news outlets. A 13-time Ironman, Jamie is also the founder and chair of the global social movement OneShared.World and has held high posts in the US National Security Council, State Department, and Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In addition to the nonfiction bestseller Hacking Darwin, Jamie is the author of three other books and a story, “A Visit to Weizenbaum,” which was made into the short film Source Code.
