Brian Skerry is a master visual storyteller specializing in marine wildlife and underwater environments. National Geographic has named him a Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year, storytelling fellow, and photography fellow and Brian has been a contributing photographer to the magazine since 1998.. He is also an 11-time winner of Wildlife Photographer of the Year and serves as explorer-in-residence and a trustee at the New England Aquarium. A founding member of the International League of Conservation Photographers, he’s also an Explorers Club fellow. Brian’s iconic images have been published widely, from Sports Illustrated to the New York Times. He has also published 13 books including Secrets of the Whales, which has an Emmy Award–winning companion TV series on Disney+. Brian has spoken at the UN General Assembly and World Economic Forum and on several TED stages, among many other prestigious places.
